About Us

Urban Merchants Limited was established by Attila Jozsa and his partner Annik Pastore in 2009.

Attila’s passion for fine food and wine has evolved and developed through his career in the top end of the hotel and restaurant industry spanning over 15 years.
His career working in fine-dining restaurants began in Canada and, following seven years spent gaining experience in the northern territories, he subsequently moved to London where he found a position working as Sommellier for Anton Mossiman at the Belfry in Belgravia, and then the privately-owned Goring Hotel’s Dining Room where he looked after high profile politicians and royalty.
In 2007, Attila moved to The Royal Automobile Club, one of London’s most exclusive private members clubs, as Restaurant Manager.
Along with his partner Annik, the idea emerged of sourcing rare and unique ingredients such as truffles, foie gras and other delicacies, bringing them to the homes of gastronomes, foodies and anyone wishing to discover the fine foods from around the globe.
